Printed in 1949 by the International Harvester Company, this paperback cookbook of Refrigerator Recipes contains tasty recipes for beverages, desserts, pies, salads, cookies, rolls and casserole dishes. This cookbook was definitely a part of someone's meal preparations in the past, and therefore shows vintage wear with tears and yellowing. All recipes, however, are clear and easy to read. It would be a great addition to the kitchen of anyone who loves vintage cookbooks.

Magic Seal Cookbook
This is one fabulous find complete with the original warranty and purchase tag dated July 23, 1945 on the inside cover! Published by Montgomery Ward, this cookbook accompanied the Magic Seal Supreme Quality Pressure Cooker and includes canning direction fruits, meats and vegebables, as well as pressure cooker recipes. This book was obviously used and inclues a handwritten note from 1992 regarding orders for replacement parts. The book has one torn edge on the cover and fading around the edges, which aren’t surprising given its age.

I enjoy seeing what inspired people in the kitchen so I have left her notes in the cookbook. The book showcases menus for everyday use as well as entertaining. Other than some fading around the edges the book is in very good vintage condition.

This Jell-O cookbook from 1972 truly does showcase the joys of Jell-O with recipes for deserts and salads, along with tips, tricks and new ways with Jell-O. The insert entitled “Make someone happy. Make someone Jell-o” was found inside this cookbook. The cookbook has a cardstock cover that shows vintage wear. Although this book was clealy used in someone’s kitchen it is in good vintage condition. Very fun find!

Vintage Irish Linens
This beautiful Luncheon Set of Pure Irish Linen is in the original box with the protective plastic in tact. Such a fabulous find! The set includes 6 placemats measuring 12 X 18" and 6 napkins measuring 14" square. They were made by Teresa's Cottage Industries, LTD with the artist's name on the original tag. The box shows some vintage wear with a tear in one corner. All of the linens are protected in plastic.
